Foraging doesn’t have to take a ton of work or time! One of my birds’ favorites are these “search container” I make. These are paper or plastic containers filled with miscellaneous toy parts, treats, foot toys, some shredded paper, etc to make a fun activity box. I make these for all my birds, cockatiels to a cockatoo, so you can adjust it to make it work for any species you keep. I put these on top of the cage, on the floor grate, inside a bucket to hang, on the counter when they are out with me…anywhere your bird can find it! They love to sort out and find their favorite items inside.
