Sleep Tight

Do birds dream? As far as research has found; yes! One study with pigeons saw that areas of the brain associated with flight light up while they were asleep. Another study found some species had areas of the brain that are associated with emotion light up. We have known for a while that seafaring birds and long migration birds will sleep with one half of their brain on, while the other half is asleep. It's interesting to think about in our pet species what they could possibly dream about! Follow the link below to learn more!
